America's Warrior Partnership Issues RFP for 2020 Symposium Speakers

WASHINGTON, March 12, 2020 (Newswire.com) - America’s Warrior Partnership today issued a request for proposals (RFP) to solicit speakers for its 2020 Annual Warrior Community Integration Symposium. The event gathers hundreds of veteran-serving professionals from the private and public sectors to share best practices and connect with resources tailored to empowering military service members, veterans, their families and caregivers.
“Thousands of professionals have attended our Symposium since it launched in 2014, and one of the reasons many return year after year is to continue learning from speakers who can help them improve the services they offer veterans,” said Jim Lorraine, president and CEO of America’s Warrior Partnership. “We welcome proposals from experts who can further this mission and encourage attendees to connect with new resources and build new partnerships.”
Speakers from previous Symposiums include renowned author Sebastian Junger, U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert Wilkie, Hope Unseen founders Scotty and Tiffany Smiley, and Medal of Honor recipients Sal Giunta and Clint Romesha.
Presentation proposals for the 2020 Symposium should align with one of the following topics:
- Empowered veterans (with a focus on health and wellness)
- Empowered professionals (with a focus on education, business and entrepreneurship)
- Empowered families
- Empowered communities
- Empowered organizations
